In 2007 the new Russian Federal Targeted Program “Research and development in priority trends of science and technology of Russia for 2007-2012” has started. Hydrogen Energy is the critical technology for the program, 41 projects with more than 60 scientific organizations as subcontractors were supported. The results of first year of the program are presented.
