Hydrogen from Water
Standard methods for the production of hydrogen from water are discussed in terms of each individual energy requirement. Electro chemical processes are shown to have unique properties and excellent environmental advantages. They provide a carbon free, inorganic pathway for the storage and delivery of energy, based upon hydrogen, and can be incorporated into various looping pathways that minimize use of energies available in waste steams. A production plant for the continuous provision of hydrogen at low temperatures and pressures (CHR) is described.
